NPLIFE AI Trade Assistant
TD9 Reversal Zones & Continuation
A TD9-based analysis assistant that detects reversal setups, confirms them after completion, and flags continuation when a setup fails to reverse — with demand/supply zones, POC levels and ATR-based reference levels for planning.
TD9 reversal and continuation context
What This Indicator Is
NPLIFE AI Trade Assistant is a TradingView indicator built around TD9-style sequential counting. It marks where a reversal setup is developing, whether that setup is confirmed after completion, and what happens when it fails to reverse.
Alongside the TD count it layers market location and structure: daily and weekly demand/supply zones, daily and weekly Point of Control, EMA trend structure, and an ADX-based trend and momentum check.
It is an analytical and visual tool. It does not place orders, and it does not guarantee trading results — every reading is meant to be interpreted alongside your own analysis and risk management.
What It Detects

- Reversal confirmation after setup completion
- Continuation signals when setups fail to reverse
- Daily and weekly demand and supply zones
- Daily and weekly Point of Control (POC)
- EMA trend structure
- ADX trend and momentum confirmation
- ATR-based Stop Loss, T1, T2 and T3 reference levels
Core Components
What Powers NPLIFE AI Trade Assistant
10 integrated analytical components working together to provide structured market context.
TD9 Reversal Setup Detection
Tracks the TD sequential count and marks where a reversal setup is developing. Only valid TD8 and TD9 candles are highlighted — a black candle marks a buy-side setup and a yellow candle a sell-side setup. These mark a developing exhaustion condition, not a guaranteed reversal.
Reversal Confirmation
After a setup completes, the indicator looks for confirmation before treating the reversal as established. Setup completion and confirmation are separate stages, so a completed count on its own is not treated as a finished signal.
Continuation Signals
When a setup completes but price does not reverse, the indicator flags a continuation instead. This covers the common case where an exhaustion count appears inside a trend that simply keeps going.
AI Confluence Filtering
The author describes an AI-confluence layer using adaptive filtering and a KNN (k-nearest-neighbour) classifier to weigh signals against recent market behaviour. The exact internal parameters are not published, and it is a classification filter — not a prediction of future price.
ADX Trend & Momentum
An ADX-based check on trend strength and momentum, used as confirmation context around setups rather than as a standalone entry trigger.
Demand & Supply Zones
Daily and weekly demand and supply zones provide market location. A demand zone is a support area and normally sits below price; a supply zone is a resistance area and normally sits above price.
Daily / Weekly POC
Point of Control levels on both the daily and weekly timeframes, used as balance and reference levels alongside the zones.
ATR-Based SL / T1 / T2 / T3
Volatility-derived Stop Loss and three target reference levels plotted from the setup. These are visual trade-planning references — not predictions and not guaranteed targets.
EMA Trend Structure
EMA structure for trend bias, including a Gray 50 EMA used as a distance filter: when price is too far from it relative to ATR, the TD9 signal condition can be blocked while valid TD8/TD9 candle highlighting remains visible.
Signal Statistics Table
An on-chart table summarising the indicator's signal statistics for the active chart, so you can review how signals have behaved on the instrument and timeframe you are looking at.
Concepts
How the TD9 Logic Reads a Chart
The core ideas behind the indicator, each shown on a chart so you can see what it looks like in practice.
Reversal Zones
A reversal zone is an area where price has become stretched and a TD setup is completing — a place to watch for exhaustion, not an automatic trade.
Zones carry more weight when they line up with a Demand Zone below price or a Supply Zone above price, because location and count are then agreeing.
The TD9 Sequence
The indicator counts a sequential setup toward 9. TD7 is an early watch stage and stays neutral on its own.
Only valid TD8 and TD9 candles are highlighted — black for a buy-side setup, yellow for a sell-side setup. Completion of the count is a developing exhaustion condition, not a confirmed reversal.
Confirmation After Completion
Setup completion and reversal confirmation are separate stages. After the count completes, the indicator looks for confirmation before the reversal is treated as established.
This separation is what keeps a bare TD9 count from being read as a finished signal.
Continuation When a Setup Fails
Not every completed setup reverses. When price keeps going in the original direction instead, the indicator flags a continuation.
This is the normal case for an exhaustion count that appears inside a strong trend — the count completes, the trend continues.
ATR-Based Trade References
Stop Loss and three targets (T1, T2, T3) are derived from ATR and plotted from the setup, so the levels adapt to current volatility.
They are a visual planning reference for your own risk management — not predictions, and not guaranteed targets.
Workflow
How It Works
NPLIFE reads market context — trend, location, and exhaustion — rather than firing blind Buy/Sell signals.
Identify Market Context
NPLIFE combines the 9 EMA, 21 EMA, Gray 50 EMA, Demand Zones, Supply Zones, the TD9 sequential count, and Unusual Activity into one view.
The goal is to read market location, trend context, exhaustion, and unusual activity — before looking at any single signal.
TD7 — Early, Location-Based Watch
TD7 is not a Buy or Sell signal. On its own, TD7 stays neutral.
TD7 becomes meaningful because of location: TD7 near a Demand Zone marks a potential buy-side exhaustion area to watch. TD7 near a Supply Zone marks a potential sell-side exhaustion area to watch.
TD7 mid-chart — neutral
TD7 at Demand Zone — location matters
TD8 & TD9 — Valid Setup Candles
Only valid TD8 and TD9 candles are highlighted on the chart.
Black candle = buy-side TD8/TD9 setup. Yellow candle = sell-side TD8/TD9 setup.
These colors mark a developing exhaustion condition — not a guaranteed reversal.
Black = Buy-side TD8/TD9
Yellow = Sell-side TD8/TD9
Demand Below, Supply Above
A Demand Zone is a support area and normally sits below price.
A Supply Zone is a resistance area and normally sits above price.
Reading where price sits between these zones is part of the market context.
Purple — Unusual Market Activity
A Purple candle flags unusual market activity — unusually high volume, an expanded candle range, or approximate CVD divergence.
Purple does not represent Buy or Sell direction.
When unusual activity happens on the same candle as another setup, Purple takes visual priority.
Gray 50 EMA — Distance Filter
The Gray 50 EMA adds context on how extended price is.
If price moves too far from the Gray 50 EMA relative to ATR, the TD9 signal condition can be blocked — though the valid TD8/TD9 candle highlighting still remains visible.
This helps avoid treating highly extended price action as a normal TD9 setup.
Works Across Timeframes
NPLIFE can be used on 1 minute, 2 minute, 3 minute, 5 minute, 1 hour, and Daily charts.
The TD logic adapts to whichever timeframe is active.

Read It as Context, Not a Blind Signal
Market Context, Demand/Supply location, TD7/TD8/TD9 development, candle color, Unusual Activity, and Gray 50 EMA context all feed into one thing: your own interpretation.
NPLIFE is a visual analysis assistant — not a guarantee of future market movement.

Decision Framework
Reading a Setup in Order
No single element on the chart is intended to be used alone. The indicator is strongest when the count, the location and the trend context agree.
This indicator is an analysis tool. It provides structured context, not guaranteed predictions. Always apply your own risk management and trading discipline.
Limitations
Common Mistakes & What the Indicator Will Not Do
Knowing where a tool is unreliable matters as much as knowing where it helps.
Treating every completed TD9 as a reversal.
Instead: A completed count is a developing exhaustion condition. Wait for the confirmation stage, and remember continuation is a normal outcome.
Trading a TD7 on its own.
Instead: TD7 is an early watch stage and is neutral by itself. It only becomes meaningful near a Demand or Supply Zone.
Ignoring where price sits in the structure.
Instead: Read the zones and POC first. The same count means different things at support, at resistance, and in open space.
Treating T1/T2/T3 as guaranteed targets.
Instead: They are ATR-derived reference levels for planning. Size positions with your own risk rules.
Assuming a signal blocked by the Gray 50 EMA filter is a bug.
Instead: When price is far from the Gray 50 EMA relative to ATR, the TD9 signal condition can be blocked on purpose. The valid TD8/TD9 highlighting still remains visible.
Expecting identical behaviour on every timeframe.
Instead: The TD logic adapts to the active chart. Review the signal statistics table for the instrument and timeframe you actually trade.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is NPLIFE AI Trade Assistant — TD9 Reversal Zones?
It is an invite-only TradingView indicator built around TD9-style sequential counting. It detects reversal setups, looks for confirmation after a setup completes, and flags continuation when a setup does not reverse — with demand/supply zones, POC levels, EMA structure and ATR-based reference levels for context.
What does TD9 mean here?
It refers to a sequential count toward 9 that identifies where price may be becoming exhausted. In this indicator only valid TD8 and TD9 candles are highlighted: black for a buy-side setup and yellow for a sell-side setup.
Does a TD9 signal mean price will reverse?
No. A completed count marks a developing exhaustion condition, not a guaranteed reversal. The indicator has a separate confirmation stage, and it flags continuation when a setup fails to reverse.
What is a continuation signal?
When a setup completes but price keeps moving in the original direction instead of reversing, the indicator marks it as a continuation rather than a failed reversal.
What does the 'AI' in the name refer to?
The author describes an AI-confluence layer that uses adaptive filtering and a KNN (k-nearest-neighbour) classifier to weigh signals against recent market behaviour. It is a classification filter applied to indicator conditions — it does not predict future prices, and the exact internal parameters are not published.
What timeframes does it support?
Daily, 1-minute, 2-minute, 3-minute, 5-minute and 1-hour charts. The TD logic adapts to whichever timeframe is active.
What are the SL, T1, T2 and T3 levels?
They are Stop Loss and three target reference levels derived from ATR, so they scale with current volatility. They are a visual trade-planning reference, not predictions or guaranteed targets.
What does the Gray 50 EMA do?
It acts as a distance filter. If price moves too far from the Gray 50 EMA relative to ATR, the TD9 signal condition can be blocked — though valid TD8/TD9 candle highlighting still remains visible.
What does the signal statistics table show?
It summarises the indicator's signal statistics for the chart you are on, so you can review how signals have behaved on that instrument and timeframe. Past behaviour does not predict future results.
Does it place trades or send orders?
No. It is an analysis and visualisation tool that draws on your TradingView chart and can raise alert conditions. It does not connect to a broker and does not place orders.
Is it suitable for beginners?
It can be, because the context is shown visually. Beginners should take time to learn what each element means, practise on historical charts, and never rely on any single signal in isolation.
Does it guarantee profits?
No. No indicator can guarantee profits. Trading carries risk, including loss of capital, and outcomes depend on your own decisions and risk management.
