(NPlife)
Read trend, market regime, momentum and multi-timeframe context with a unified TradingView indicator.
- See trend direction, market regime and momentum in a single chart view.
- Reversal Zones and Neo Cloud add location context to price movement.
- Multi-timeframe analysis keeps lower-timeframe detail tied to higher-timeframe context.
- Presets and Autopilot adjust sensitivity to the way you trade.
Features
Everything in One Market View
Each tool below is part of the indicator. Every one is shown on a chart so you can see what it looks like and what it is telling you.
Smart Trail
A dynamic trailing line that follows price and shifts between a bullish and a bearish state.
- Why it exists
- Trend direction is easier to hold on to when it is drawn on the chart instead of estimated by eye.
- How to read it
- Blue trail below price reflects bullish context. Red trail above price reflects bearish context. The shaded cloud around the trail shows the buffer the line is keeping from price.
How to use: Use the trail as dynamic support/resistance context rather than a standalone entry trigger.
Trend Catcher
A trend confirmation layer that flips state as directional pressure changes.
- Why it exists
- It gives a second, slower opinion on direction so short bursts of noise are less likely to be read as a new trend.
- How to read it
- A bullish Trend Catcher state supports long-side context; a bearish state supports short-side context. Watch the point where the state flips.
How to use: Agreement between Smart Trail and Trend Catcher is stronger context than either on its own.
Trend Tracer
A directional filter that tracks the prevailing trend and changes colour with it.
- Why it exists
- It acts as a broader filter so you can tell whether current movement runs with or against the wider direction.
- How to read it
- Follow the colour state. Price holding above a bullish Trend Tracer is directional strength; repeated flips suggest a less directional market.
How to use: Frequent flips are themselves information — they often mark range conditions.
Neo Cloud
A Tenkan/Kijun-based cloud giving structural context around price.
- Why it exists
- The cloud shows where price sits relative to a longer structural reference, not just the most recent candles.
- How to read it
- Price above a bullish cloud is long-side context; price below a bearish cloud is short-side context. Price inside the cloud is a transition or balance area.
How to use: Cloud edges often act as context levels when price returns to them.
Reversal Zones
Upper and lower zones around a mean line marking stretched price conditions.
- Why it exists
- It highlights where price has travelled far from its mean, which is useful location context.
- How to read it
- Price in the Upper Reversal Zone is an overbought context; price in the Lower Reversal Zone is an oversold context. The mean line sits between them.
How to use: Reaching a zone does not guarantee a reversal — treat it as location context and confirm with trend tools.
Dashboard
An on-chart panel summarising the indicator's current readings at a glance.
- Why it exists
- It keeps the key market-state readings visible without adding more lines to the chart.
- How to read it
- Reads Optimal Sensitivity (Autopilot state), Trend Strength, Volatility, Squeeze and Volume Sentiment for the active chart and timeframe.
How to use: Use it as a quick summary check before reading the chart in detail.
AI Moving Average
An adaptive trend-following moving average that adjusts to current price behaviour.
- Why it exists
- A smoother trend reference helps confirm direction when candles alone look choppy.
- How to read it
- It generally sits below price in an uptrend and above price in a downtrend. Price crossing and holding the other side is a change in context.
How to use: Named 'AI Moving Average' in the indicator settings — it is an adaptive moving average, not a predictive model.
Trailing Stoploss
A dynamic trend-following stop reference that trails behind price.
- Why it exists
- It provides a visible, rule-based reference level instead of an arbitrary one.
- How to read it
- In bullish context the level trails below price; in bearish context it trails above. It moves with the trend and does not move backwards against it.
How to use: A planning reference for your own risk management — not an automated order.
Sessions
Optional shading for major trading sessions such as London and New York.
- Why it exists
- Session context explains why activity and range often change at certain times of day.
- How to read it
- Each session is drawn as a shaded block with its range, so you can see how price behaved within it.
How to use: Useful for spotting which session produced the move you are looking at.
TP / SL Points
Visual take-profit and stop-loss reference levels plotted from the entry reference.
- Why it exists
- Seeing the levels on the chart makes trade planning and risk sizing more concrete.
- How to read it
- TP1 and TP2 plot above the entry reference in long-side context (below in short-side context), with SL on the opposite side.
How to use: A visual trade-planning reference only — levels are not predictions or guaranteed targets.
Autopilot Sensitivity
Selects a sensitivity profile — Short-Term, Mid-Term or Long-Term — for the indicator's tools.
- Why it exists
- A scalper and a swing trader need different responsiveness from the same tools.
- How to read it
- Short-Term reacts fastest and flips most often; Long-Term is the slowest and steadiest. The dashboard shows the active state.
How to use: Match the mode to your holding time, then keep it consistent while you read the chart.
Presets & Filters
Trader Trend, Scalper, Swing and Contrarian presets, plus individual signal filters.
- Why it exists
- Different styles want different combinations of the same underlying tools.
- How to read it
- Choose a preset to load a configuration, or enable filters individually — Smart Trail, Trend Tracer, Trend Strength, Trend Catcher and Neo Cloud.
How to use: Presets change how the tools are configured; they do not change what the tools measure.
Presets
- Trend Trader
- Scalper
- Swing Trader
- Contrarian Trader
Signal filters
- Smart Trail
- Trend Tracer
- Trend Strength
- Trend Catcher
- Neo Cloud
Presets load a configuration of the same underlying tools — they do not change what those tools measure.
Candle Confirmation
Candle colouring that reflects the current confirmation state rather than only open/close.
- Why it exists
- Colour carries confirmation context directly on the candles you are already reading.
- How to read it
- Progressively bullish colouring supports long-side context; bearish colouring supports short-side context. Mixed colouring signals transition.
How to use: Read colour together with the trend tools — on its own it is context, not a trigger.
Multi-Timeframe Analysis
Higher-timeframe context read alongside the timeframe you are trading.
- Why it exists
- A move that looks decisive on a low timeframe can be a small pullback on a higher one.
- How to read it
- Use the higher timeframe for trend and market context, and the lower timeframe for detail and execution timing.
How to use: Timeframe agreement is supportive context — it does not guarantee any outcome.
Market Regime
Combined tools that help distinguish directional movement from range-bound movement.
- Why it exists
- Market conditions change, and the same chart reading means different things in a trend than in a range.
- How to read it
- Trending: trend tools hold one direction and price extends. Sideways: tools flip more often and price returns to the mean line repeatedly.
How to use: No tool identifies ranges perfectly — use several readings together.

Workflow
How to Use NPlife
A step-by-step way to read the chart. Each step adds context — the conclusion comes only at the end.
- 1
Choose your chart timeframe
Pick the timeframe that matches how long you intend to hold. Everything the indicator draws is calculated for the active chart.
Pick the timeframe that matches your holding period. - 2
Read the main trend context
Look at Smart Trail together with Trend Catcher and Trend Tracer. Note whether they agree on direction.
Smart Trail plus Trend Catcher — do they agree? - 3
Check the market regime
Decide whether price is moving directionally or rotating sideways. Repeated trend-tool flips point toward range conditions.
Directional movement versus rotation around a mean. - 4
Check the Reversal Zones
See whether price is stretched into the Upper or Lower Reversal Zone, or sitting near the mean line.
Is price stretched into a zone, or near the mean? - 5
Check multi-timeframe context
Compare the higher timeframe's trend context with your execution timeframe before drawing a conclusion.
Higher timeframe for context, lower for timing. - 6
Check candle confirmation
Read the candle colouring for the current confirmation state and watch for transition colouring.
Colour shows the current confirmation state. - 7
Use the dashboard
Check Trend Strength, Volatility, Squeeze and Volume Sentiment for a quick summary of current conditions.

Use TP / SL as a planning reference
Note where the TP1, TP2 and SL references sit, and size any position according to your own risk rules.
Planning references only — not guaranteed targets. - 9
Choose a preset if desired
Trend Trader, Scalper, Swing Trader or Contrarian adjust the configuration to match your style.

Context Guide
Long-Side and Short-Side Context
What supportive context looks like on each side. These are context checklists, not entry signals.
Long-Side Context
Bullish- Trend tools aligned to the upside
- Price holding above the Smart Trail
- Bullish candle confirmation
- Higher timeframe supports the direction
- Lower-zone or trail retest as location context
- Risk reference below the structure
Short-Side Context
Bearish- Trend tools aligned to the downside
- Price holding below the Smart Trail
- Bearish candle confirmation
- Higher timeframe supports the direction
- Upper-zone or trail retest as location context
- Risk reference above the structure
Supportive context does not guarantee any outcome. Every reading should be combined with your own analysis and risk management.
Market Regime
Reading Different Market Conditions
Market conditions change. The indicator provides multiple context tools to help identify whether price is behaving directionally or moving more sideways.
Strong bullish trend
What to observe
- Smart Trail stays blue and holds below price.
- Price makes higher highs and pulls back to the trail rather than through it.
- Candle colouring stays predominantly bullish.
What not to assume: Do not assume the trend continues indefinitely — extended price can still reach the Upper Reversal Zone and stall.
Strong bearish trend
What to observe
- Smart Trail stays red and holds above price.
- Rallies stop near the trail or the cloud rather than breaking through.
- Candle colouring stays predominantly bearish.
What not to assume: Do not treat every touch of the Lower Reversal Zone as a bottom — in a strong downtrend price can stay stretched.
Sideways / range market
What to observe
- Price returns to the mean line repeatedly.
- Trend tools flip direction more frequently.
- Moves stall near the upper and lower zones instead of extending.
What not to assume: Trend tools may change direction more frequently here. Use broader context and avoid treating every change as a standalone trading signal.
Preset
Scalper Preset
The Scalper preset is configured for a more responsive short-term view.
Faster market movement
Tools are tuned to react sooner on lower timeframes.
Confirmation Gradient
Candle colouring builds as confirmation strengthens.
Smart Trail
Trails closer to price for a shorter-term read.
Trend Tracer
Keeps the directional filter visible while you work quickly.
A more responsive configuration reacts sooner, which also means more state changes to interpret. It does not guarantee better results.
Trader Feedback
What Traders Say
Rahul M.
Intraday Trader
“I like that the indicator doesn't depend on just one signal. The trend, market regime, and other visual elements give me a much clearer picture of what is happening on the chart.”
Amit K.
Futures Trader
“The market-regime view is probably the feature I use the most. It helps me recognize when the market is trending versus moving sideways, instead of treating every setup the same.”
Priya S.
Technical Trader
“The chart feels much easier to read after using the different visual layers. I especially like being able to focus on the important areas without having the chart covered in unnecessary labels.”
Vikram R.
Options Trader
“I found the multi-timeframe approach useful for understanding the bigger trend before looking at the shorter timeframe. It gives my chart analysis a more structured workflow.”
Neha P.
Swing & Intraday Trader
“The visual presentation is what stood out to me. Once I understood what each component represented, I could follow the chart without constantly switching between different indicators.”
Arjun S.
Active Trader
“The regime information adds useful context. A setup that looks attractive in isolation can look very different when the broader market is sideways, so I appreciate having that context on the chart.”
Sandeep V.
Technical Analyst
“I prefer indicators that help organize information rather than simply printing buy and sell signals. NPLIFE gives me several pieces of market context in one place.”
Karan D.
Intraday Trader
“The combination of trend information and visual zones makes the chart easier for me to study. It has become part of my chart-analysis routine.”
Anjali R.
Market Learner
“The biggest benefit for me was having the different concepts presented visually. It took some time to learn, but the structured approach made the indicator easier to understand.”
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is MTF Signal & Market Regime (NPlife)?
It is a TradingView indicator that combines trend tools, reversal zones, candle confirmation, multi-timeframe context and an on-chart dashboard into a single market view. It is designed to help you read market context visually.
Is this a TradingView indicator?
Yes. It is written in Pine Script v6 and runs natively on TradingView charts. No external software or broker connection is required.
What timeframes can it be used on?
It works on any timeframe TradingView supports. The tools recalculate for the active chart, and the Autopilot sensitivity modes let you match responsiveness to your holding period.
What is Smart Trail?
Smart Trail is a dynamic trailing line that follows price and shifts between bullish and bearish states. It is drawn with a surrounding cloud and is intended as trend and dynamic support/resistance context.
What are Reversal Zones?
Reversal Zones are upper and lower areas around a mean line that mark stretched price conditions. Price entering a zone is location context — it does not mean a reversal is guaranteed.
What does MTF analysis mean?
Multi-timeframe analysis means reading a higher timeframe for trend and market context alongside the lower timeframe you are executing on, so low-timeframe movement is interpreted within the broader picture.
What does the Dashboard show?
The dashboard displays Optimal Sensitivity (the Autopilot state), Trend Strength, Volatility, Squeeze and Volume Sentiment for the active chart and timeframe.
What is the AI Moving Average?
It is the name used in the indicator's settings for an adaptive trend-following moving average that adjusts to current price behaviour. It is not a machine-learning model and does not predict future prices.
What is Autopilot?
Autopilot selects a sensitivity profile — Short-Term, Mid-Term or Long-Term — which changes how responsive the indicator's tools are to price movement.
Is this a guaranteed trading signal?
No. The indicator provides visual context and analysis tools. Nothing it draws is a guaranteed signal, and every reading is intended to be interpreted alongside your own analysis.
Is this suitable for beginners?
It can be, because the context is presented visually. Beginners should take time to learn what each tool measures, practise on historical charts, and never rely on any single element in isolation.
Does it guarantee profits?
No. No indicator can guarantee profits. Trading carries risk, including loss of capital. This tool is for market analysis and educational purposes, and outcomes depend on your own decisions and risk management.
